Celebrating 20 years!

Happy 20th anniversary to the Ottawa Methods Centre (OMC), a founding OSSU Research Centre, located at The Ottawa Hospital. A key provider of expertise in clinical trial design, research methods, patient engagement in research and much more, OMC has been a resource for researchers in Ontario and beyond, helping embed patient partnership in research in research culture.
Dr. Dean Fergusson, OSSU’s Scientific Director, has been integral to the Ottawa Method Centre’s role in advancing patient-oriented research through OSSU’s wide network and beyond. A scientist at the OMC, he has been a leader in making patient engagement in research part of the culture at both The Ottawa Hospital and across the province.
A hearty congratulations to Dr. Fergusson, the OMC team and its patient partners. This is definitely a milestone worth celebrating.
