Conversation Summaries & Resources

Bringing People Together Through Conversation
The OSSU World Café Conversations provide a welcoming space where patient and caregiver partners, researchers, clinicians, trainees, research staff, and health system partners come together to discuss opportunities and challenges in patient-oriented research.
Developed as a demonstration project, the series encourages open dialogue, shared learning, and relationship-building through community-driven conversations. Conceived through the vision of Dr. Vasanthi Srinivasan, OSSU Executive Director, and developed by Maureen Smith, Dr. Stuart Nicholls, and Aleisha Fernandes, topics are suggested by participants and explored through facilitated discussion, with each session producing practical resources that can be shared across the patient-oriented research community.
