A call to Patients and Caregivers interested in Health Research

The Ontario SPOR SUPPORT Unit is seeking new members to join its Patient Partner Working Group.

The Ontario SPOR SUPPORT Unit (OSSU) is a health research network that engages researchers, patients and other partners in patient-oriented research to improve the health of Ontarians and the health care system. A critical part of OSSU’s governance structure is the Patient Partner Working Group (PPWG) – a group of dedicated patients and caregivers who guide and provide relevance to the work of OSSU and patient-oriented research projects. Click here to see the full terms of reference for the PPWG.

The PPWG is looking for 3-5 patients and/or caregivers to join the group as members.

Who can apply?

  • residents of Ontario who identify as patients and/or caregiver
  • people who have a working understanding of English (La plupart des documents de travail sont en anglais et toutes les réunions se tiendront en anglais, quoiqu’il y aura une facilitatrice bilingue qui s’assurera que vous pourrez communiquer en français)

If you are interested in becoming a member of the PPWG, please complete this form and email it to ossu@ossu.ca on or before 5:00 pm (eastern) on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. We will respond to all those who apply.
