Ms. Elizabeth Carlton

Board Member

As Vice-President of Policy and Public Affairs, Elizabeth is responsible for advancing the Association’s advocacy efforts in support of members and their partners, strategically positioning the OHA as an influential leader in shaping the future of Ontario’s health care system. This includes leading OHA initiatives relating to Health System Funding Reform (HSFR), system integration, patient safety and quality, legislative/legal issues, as well as dedicated thought leadership mandates furthering system reconfiguration, patient experience and hospital-physician alignment.

She has a law degree from the University of Western Ontario and received a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School.
